Develop your next plant trait with us

We work with companies in various industries to develop new biological functions in their plants.

Start focused

A new compound, increased yield, a stress resistance trait, a different product characteristic, or a biological function the plant does not currently have. We start with the intended result and assess the engineering required to pursue it.

Advance on evidence

Across the three phases, we take your program from trait definition to a validated engineered plant. Each phase has an agreed scope, budget, and deliverables. After each phase, you decide whether to proceed to the next.

  1. PHASE 1

    Establish feasibility

Address the main technical uncertainty, such as DNA construct functionality, or plant regeneration, with focused experiments on an ambitious timeline. This supports a fast, informed go/no-go decision.

What you receiveFeasibility report including technical results, interpretation and recommended next steps.

  2. PHASE 2

    Develop stable lines

Generate and characterize a number of stably transformed plantlets with the intended biological trait, confirmed using molecular and biochemical criteria.

What you receiveData package including results for multiple candidate plantlets, with molecular and biochemical characterization.

  3. PHASE 3

    Validate and transfer plants

Screen and evaluate selected lines against agreed agronomic trait, growth, and stability criteria across generations in controlled or simulated environments.

What you receiveA plant line engineered with the desired trait, full characterization data, and transfer of the biological material to your facilities.
